What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that sites save on the user's device to make the site work, remember preferences or collect statistics. Together with cookies we use similar technologies (e.g. localStorage) for similar purposes.
Categories of cookies used
Necessary (always on)
Essential for the operation of the site and for storing your privacy choices. They do not require consent.
- okn-consent (localStorage, oknapoli.com domain) — stores your cookie preferences. Duration: persistent until revoked/deleted.
Statistics (with consent)
They help us understand, in aggregate form, how the site is used. They are managed through Google Tag Manager and use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.). They are activated only after your consent and set the following cookies:
- _ga — distinguishes users anonymously — duration: 2 years — Google.
- _ga_<ID> — keeps session state — duration: 2 years — Google.
How to manage consent
On your first visit we show a banner that lets you accept, reject or customize the categories. You can change your mind at any time via the Cookie preferences button (bottom left and in the footer). Until you give consent, statistics tools remain disabled (Google Consent Mode v2). You can also manage cookies from your browser settings.
Third-party cookies
Once enabled with consent, Google tools may set their own cookies. For details see the Google privacy policy.
